Criminal Charges— 9-11-17

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

  • Anthrone Lavacier Cunningham, 57, 2209 Kilborne in Charlotte was charged Sept. 5 with one count each of assault on a female, communicating threats and assault with a deadly weapon.
  • Thomas Alby Davis, 32, of 6437 Dandelion Tr. in Denver was charged Sept. 5 with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, possession of a weapon or firearms by a felon, larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Cornelius Montreal Peeler, 42, of 903 Langston Dr. in Shelby was charged Sept. 5 with one count of failure to appear. A $200 secured bond was set.
  • Anthony Heath Weaver, 40, of 199 Campbell Ln. in Lincolnton was charged Sept. 5 with one count of failure to appear. A $2,000 secured bond was set.
  • Nicholas Shawn Wright, 31, of 1211 Georgetown Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Sept. 5 with one count of possession of a schedule II controlled substance. A $900 secured bond was set.
  • Shawn Michael Dalton, 20, of 4487 Catawba-Burris Rd. in Denver was charged Sept. 5 with one count of injury to personal property. A $500 secured bond was set.
  • was charged Sept. 5 with one count each of trafficking in opium or heroin and felon possessing a firearm. A $100,000 secured bond was set.
  • Damien Dawson Phillips, 36, of 7682 Otts Cir. in Stanley was charged Sept. 5 with one count each of failure to appear and failure to comply. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
  • James C. Phillips, Jr., 53, of 7682 Otts Cir. in Stanley was charged Sept. 5 with one count of possession of a weapon of firearms by a felon. A $15,000 secured bond was set.
