Criminal Charges — 7-22-15

Criminal charges for July 22, 2015.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

• Jovan Christopher Brooks, 33, of 545 Car Farm Rd. in Lincolnton was charged July 17 with two counts of probation violation. A $20,000 secured bond was set.
• Chelsea Ann-Marie, 19, of 2697 Hwy. 182 in Lincolnton was charged July 17 with one count each of consuming alcoholic beverage under age 21 and prohibited open container.
• Justin Robert Gordon, 20, of 2072 Dean Ln. in Lincolnton was charged July 17 with one count of common law robbery. A $10,000 secured bond was set.
• Joshua Thomas Carpenter, 25, of 302 Hubbard St. in Lincolnton was charged July 17 with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Randy Everette Spivey, 41, of 6063 Eli Ln. in Denver was charged July 17 with one count of statutory rape/sex offense of a 13, 14, 15 year old by a defendant six years older. A $20,000 secured bond was set.
• Curtis NMN Nixon, Jr., 49, of 319 Old Barn Rd. in Iron Station was charged with two counts of resisting, delaying, obstructing a public officer and one count of assault on a government official. A $4,000 bond was set.
• Johnny Ray Izard, Jr., 22, of 309 Lee Av. in Lincolnton was charged July 18 with one count of assault on a female. A $2,500 secured bond was set.
• Eli Logan Mosteller, 21, of 1944 Brevard Place Rd. in Iron Station was charged July 18 with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a schedule VI controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
• Angelica Prentice Mosteller, 60, of 1944 Brevard Place Rd. in Iron Station was charged July 18 with one count each of maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a schedule VI controlled substance.
• Nick Ledford, 20, of 1483 J Rhyne Reep Rd. in Vale was charged July 18 with one count of driving while licensed revoked. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
• Dalas Murry, 20, of 138 Red Yam Farm Rd. in Dallas was charged July 18 with one count of driving while impaired.
• Nicholas Andrew Ledford, 20, of 1483 J Rhyne Reep Rd. in Vale was charged July 18 with one count of driving while license revoked. A $1,000 bond was set.
• Saarh Winters, 17, of 309 9^th Street in Conover was charged July 18 with one count each of consuming alcoholic beverage under age 21 and prohibited open container.
• Katelyn Lilian Houser, 25, of 1367 Hickory Nut Ln. in Lincolnton was charged July 18 with one count each of failure to appear and resisting, delaying, obstructing a public officer. A $500 secured bond was set.
• Patrick Loy Little, Jr., 32, of 8010 Mountain Shore Dr. in Sherrills Ford was charged July 18 with one count each of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, conspiring to sell/deliver MDPV, possessing controlled drugs-equipment/paraphernalia, aggressive driving, improper passing on the right, speeding 15 mph more than speed limit, careless and reckless driving, driving while license suspended or revoked, displaying expired registration plate, and fleeing/eluding arrest with motor vehicle. A $50,000 secured bond was set.
• Dustin Mark Kolczak, 23, of 6914 Ingleside Dr. in Sherrills Ford was charged July 18 with one count each of resisting, delaying, obstructing a public officer and misdemeanor breaking and entering a building.
• Lara Nita Brown-Makeda, 28, of 5611 N. Winston Pk. Blvd. in Coconut Creek, Fla. was charged July 18 with one count each of misdemeanor larceny and possessing stolen goods. A $3,000 secured bond was set.
• Condace Chrystal Renae Brown, 30, of 8647 NW 61^st St. in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. was charged July 18 with one count each of misdemeanor larceny and possessing stolen goods. A $3,000 secured bond was set.
• John Thurley Adams, 45, of 8196 Charlotte Hwy in Fort Mill, S.C. was charged July 18 with one count each of felony failure to appear. A $30,000 bond was set.
• Matthew Ryan Patton, 26, of 4555 Eagles Nest Ln. in Granite Falls was charged July 19 with two counts of failure to appear and second degree trespassing and one count each of misdemeanor larceny. A $1,000 bond was set.
• James Arthur Deaton, 41, of 3085 Baxter Deaton Ln. in Lincolnton was charged July 19 with two counts of assault by pointing a gun and one count each of possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, altering, destroying, removing ID marks – personal property, possessing stolen goods, prohibited weapon possession by felon of firearms, etc and assault on female.
• Scottie Dean Smith, 30, of 4000 Reepsville Rd. in Vale was charged July 19 with one count of worthless check. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
• Jason Kinsley Engle, 34, of 6584 Deerwood Tr. in Vale was charged July 19 with one count of failure to comply. A $715 bond was set.
• Jovanid Rodriguez Silva, 20, of 2767 Orchard Dr. in Newton was charged July 19 with one count each of driving while impaired, consuming alcoholic beverage under age 21, driving while license revoked, possession of marijuana up to ½ oz. and provisional licensee driving after consuming. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
• Jamel Ferred Guest, 21, of 146 Lexus Dr. in Shelby was charged July 20 with one count of simple assault, simple assault and battery or affray. A $10,000 secured bond was set.
• Mark Allen Carlyle, 54, of 4910 Little Creek Dr. in Denver was charged July 20 with one count of failure to appear. A $500 secured bond was set.
