Criminal Charges — 7-8-15

Criminal charges for July 8, 2015.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

  • John Jefferson Wilson, 26, of 6632 Lineberger Rd. in Denver was charged July 3 with one count each of failure to appear and possession of a schedule VI controlled substance. A $300 secured bond was set.
  • Michael David Orgeron, 18, of 285 Hill Rd. in Lincolnton was charged July 3 with one count each of possession of a schedule VI controlled substance and possessing controlled drugs, equipment or paraphernalia.
  • Dion Albert Torrence, 35, of 2573 Crab Apple Tr. in Denver was charged July 3 with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance and possession of cocaine. A $10,000 secured bond was set.
  • Ricky Dean Smith, 45, of 122 Double Shoal Rd., 5 in Shelby was charged July 3 with one count of assault on a female by a male over 18 years of age.
  • Kelly Dean Gann, 42, of 323 Taylor Dr. in Stanley was charged July 3 with one count of assault on a female. A $3,000 secured bond was set.
  • Eric Douglas Thomas, 18, of 5796 Boxer Dr. in Iron Station was charged July 4 with one count of possessing stolen goods.
  • Travis Lee Cooper, of 3299 Gastonia Hwy., C in Lincolnton was charged July 4 with one count each of assault by strangulation and assault on a female.
  • Christopher Seth Godleski, 26, of 9833 Celdwell Depot Rd. in Cornelius was charged July 4 with one count of driving while impaired. A $1,000 unsecured bond was set.
  • Walter Israel Mercado, 24, of 934 Kanewood Tr. in Lincolnton was charged July 4 with one count of failure to appear. A $500 secured bond was set.
  • Clinton William Carpenter, 31, of 7183 W. NC Hwy. 27 West in Vale was charged July 4 with one count each of assault by strangulation, kidnapping, assault on a female and communicating threats.
  • Dawn Pruitt Burnette, 44, of 4160 Kent St. in Maiden was charged July 4 with one count each of obtaining property by false pretenses, alter/forging title and fraud of insurance false oath to procure insurance policy. A $10,000 secured bond was set.
  • Jacob Morris Sands, 32, of 8441 Meadowcroft Ct. in Charlotte was charged July 4 with one count of driving while impaired.
  • David Allen Wilkes, 44, of 1886 Rock Hollar Rd. in Stanley was charged July 4 with one count of wrongfully obtaining or divulging telephonic messages.
  • Eugene Edwin Goodson, Sr., 47, of 2945 Loviee Rd. in Lincolnton was charged July 5 with one count of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. A $20,000 secured bond was set.
  • Daniel Lee Isenhour, 29, of 578 Calvary Church Rd. in Lincolnton was charged July 5 with one count of assault inflicting serious injury. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
  • Candace Pendergrass Mitchell, 44, of 1954 Bancroft Ln. in Lincolnton was charged July 5 with one count of simple assault and battery or affray. A $4,000 secured bond was set.
  • Jimmy Robles, 23, of 5683 Pug Ln. in Iron Station was charged July 5 with one count assault on female.
  • Phillip Eugene Thomas, 29, of 1242 Yard Mill Rd., 2, in Shelby was charged July 5 with one count each of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance and driving while license revoked. A $15,000 secured bond was set.
  • Solomon Thao, 31, of 535 Fayette Rd. in York, S.C. was charged July 5 with one count of failure to appear. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
  • Richard Lee Phelps, 21, of 3080 Beaver Dam Ln. in Lincolnton was charged July 5 with one count of simple assault and battery or affray and assault inflicting serious injury.
