Criminal Charges — 4-8-16

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

  • Ryan Gregory Smith, 21, of 7223 Price Pt. in Denver was charged Apr. 4 with one count of failure to appear. A $4,000 secured bond was set.
  • Kendell Rashad Bowden, 24, of 400 Honeywood Ave. in Charlotte was charged Apr. 4 with one count on felon in possession of a weapon or firearms. A $20,000 secured bond was set.
  • Nikki Leigh Vass, 36, of 801 S. Grove St. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 4 with one count of civil order for arrest of child support.
  • Dominique David Morrison, 22, of 124 E. Dixon St. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 4 with one count of failure to appear.
  • Amber Elizabeth Self, 26, of 5142 Flay Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 4 with one count each of misdemeanor larceny and possessing stolen goods. A $2,500 secured bond was set.
  • Jamie Adam Meeks, 28, of 1514 Duncan Rd. in Dallas was charged Apr. 4 with two counts of failure to appear.
  • Dustin Allen Moore, 41, of 4266 Majesty Ct. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 4 with one count each of selling or delivering a schedule III controlled substance, possession of a schedule III controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or delivering a schedule I controlled substance and possession with intent to manufacture, selling or delivering a schedule II controlled substance. A $25,000 bond was set.
  • Haley Kristin Gantt, 27, of 6789 Jake Seagle Rd. in Vale was charged Apr. 4 with one count of failure to appear.
  • Carlton John Williams, Jr., 32, of 1338 Dartwood Ln. in Stanley was charged Apr. 4 with one count each of communicating threats, failure to appear, insurance fraud and two counts of obtaining property by false pretenses. A $500 secured bond was set.
  • James Allen Harris, 53, of 769 Startown Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 4 with one count each of possession of a schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Lous Tyrone Shipp, 48, of 213 Newbold St. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 5 with one count each of possession of cocaine, and possession of controlled drugs, equipment or paraphernalia. A $5,000 bond was set.
  • Jameson Acoya Kennedy, 24, of 410 S. Flint St. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 5 with one count each of larceny and first degree trespassing.
  • Zacharia Evan Allen, 23, of 825 Cason St. in Belmont was charged Apr. 5 with one count of felony larceny.
  • James William Jenkins, IV, 29, of 1555 S. Aspen St. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 5 with count each of speeding to elude arrest, all traffic, prohibited open container for driver, failure to stop at a red light of stop sign and misdemeanor larceny.
  • Miranda Irene Hullender, 30, of 7141 Lingerfelt Rd. in Vale was charged Apr. 5 with one count of failure to appear. A $500 secured bond was set.
  • James Allen Harris, 53, of 769 Startown Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 5 with one count each of unauthorized use of motor vehicle and injury to personal property. A $3,000 secured bond was set.
  • George Rankin Hayes, Sr., 44, of 1753 Lutz Dairy Farm Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 5 with one count of possessing stolen goods.
  • Amber Dawn Akins, 28, of 4452 Maiden Hwy. in Maiden was charged Apr. 5 with one count of true bill or indictment. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
  • Dannie Ray Pope, 40, of Charlotte was charged Apr. 5 with four counts of obtaining property by false pretenses and three counts of possession of 5+ counterfeit instrument.
  • Paul Bernard Friend, 59, of 6072 Cottontail Ln. in Vale was charged Apr. 5 with one count second degree trespassing.
  • Deantae Jerome Sowell, 23, of 946 Ben Mclain Ln. in Stanley was charged Apr. 5 with one count of second degree trespassing. A $2,500 secured bond was set.
  • Amber Danielle Scism, 32, of 2008 Bill Lynch Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 5 with one count each of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for a controlled substance. A $1,000 unsecured bond was set.
  • Kimberly Nicole Wood, 20, of 720 Lincoln St. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 5 with six counts of failure to appear. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
  • Bridget Kopelakis Roberts, 55, of 2319 Tryon Courthouse Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Apr. 5 with one count of failure to appear. A $500 cash bond was set.
